About Us

Inland Plywood is a family owned business that was founded at our present location in Pontiac, Michigan.  Since our humble beginnings in 1967 as a local supplier to retail lumber yards, we have grown into a nationally recognized partner to the marine industry. During this evolution, we added a fully stocked warehouse and sales office in Cocoa, Florida in 1982.

As the industry has grown, the need for new products and new ways of doing business have presented themselves on a regular basis.  This has been a driving factor for us and quite frankly, a key component to our success.  With ownership at the helm on a daily basis, and long term employees at both our Michigan and Florida locations, we have the knowledge and experience to react to the changing demands and needs of our customers.  Our manageable corporate structure allows us to be nimble with our approach to decision making and custom program development.  Our customers can talk with the same people in our offices that they would have been able to some 15, 20, or even 40 years ago.

We now operate out of nine strategically located shipping points that are positioned to provide timely deliveries to meet our customers just in time requirements.  Material is located at key geographic points based on the demands and requirement of the local customer base.  This strategy allows us the opportunity to mitigate the cost of freight and provide short delivery windows.
